Ajax Amsterdam will be visiting Fortuna Sittard in the Dutch league today, and from the camp of the largest Dutch club, they announced that due to the absence of the injured Steven Bergwijn, the captain's armband will be worn by a player who hasn't even played for Ajax yet!
This honor will go to their most expensive summer signing, Josip Šutalo, who moved to Ajax from Dinamo Zagreb for just over 20 million euros a few weeks ago.
Šutalo will make his debut for Ajax today, and on his very first game, he will be the captain of Ajax.
